Welcome to another weekend coming up in Calgary! We’ve got plenty in mind for you to get up to on this lovely warm weekend!
This weekend we will have:

Spruce Meadows Winter Farewell Tournament
To start, let’s take a look at showjumping. Leap your way to Spruce Meadows for the Winter Farewell Tournament as we say farewell to winter and (hopefully) hello to spring! This event is the third show jumping event in the winter series and takes place in the lovely indoor comfort of the Spruce Meadows Equi-Plex! So, for all those equestrian fans out there, make your way to Spruce Meadows to check out elite showjumping!
Montreal Canadiens @ Calgary Flames
Next up we take a look at the Flames as they take on the Habs. That’s right, Montreal is in town and fans will be excited to see this Original 6 team in action. Meanwhile the Flames are eager to get back onto home ice after a painful road-trip that lasted the past week, picking up very few points in the process. Eager for action and a return of the Calgary Flames? Then head on down to the Saddledome to see what’s sure to be a great game!
Theory of a Deadman - Unplugged
Sports not your thing? Don’t worry, we’re done with sports (for this weekend) and we’re taking you now to live music! Check out Canadian rock band Theory of a Deadman, formed in 1999, as they continue their tour! This live show includes special guest Jeff Martin from The Tea Party who’ll be joining the performance! If you like rock and roll and Canadian music, then this show is the one for you!
Foothills Brass: Oscar Week
Not much into rock? No sweat, there’s more live music coming your way! You have a chance to see the Foothills Brass Society, a Calgary staple, as they perform Oscar Week – Music of the Great Movies! A chance to hear your favorite beloved soundtracks from iconic movies throughout the ages! If recreation is more your thing, then this right here in a great show for you to check out!
