SUE: The T. rex Experience is now on display at TELUS Spark Science Centre in Calgary until November 29, 2026. The travelling exhibition introduces visitors to SUE, one of the most complete and best-preserved Tyrannosaurus rex specimens ever discovered. Organized by Chicago’s Field Museum, the exhibition explores the life of a T. rex approximately 67 million years ago through interactive displays and hands-on activities.

Visitors can stand beside an exact cast of SUE’s skeleton, measuring 40 feet long and 13 feet tall at the hip. The exhibition also features a full-size replica of a T. rex hunting an Edmontosaurus.

The experience includes interactive elements that engage multiple senses. Visitors can smell prehistoric plants, hear and feel the rumble of a T. rex growl, and touch bronze casts of real fossil bones. The exhibition also explores ongoing scientific research and discoveries made since SUE was first uncovered in 1990.

SUE: The T. rex Experience is suitable for all ages and is included with general admission or a TELUS Spark membership. The exhibition is located at TELUS Spark Science Centre, 220 St. George’s Drive NE in Calgary, and runs until November 29, 2026.
