Sparrow Artspace is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a community event on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at its location in Bridgeland. The event combines Sparrow Artspace’s annual general meeting with an anniversary celebration featuring art, food, drinks, and creative activities.

Attendees can participate in an artist trading card activity, where they create their own small piece of artwork and exchange it with another participant. The activity provides an opportunity for visitors to contribute to the celebration and take home artwork created by someone else.

The evening will also include the announcement of the $1,000 Sparrow Alumni Prize, recognizing an artist who has previously participated in Sparrow Artspace’s programming.

Admission is free, and the event is open to community members interested in learning more about Sparrow Artspace and its work supporting local artists.
