The Barn Artisan Market

Starting off with an artisan market, The Barn market to be specific, hosted at Shawnessy barn, the last usable barn within Calgary city limits! Originally built by John McInnes in 1915, talk about historic. Established in 2020 with a focus on local vendors you’ll find Alberta artisanal products, handcrafted and created with love and care. Here you’ll find 2 floors packed full of vendors, 34 local vendors to be specific. Artisans, artists, crafters, creators, makers, bakers, and more! This is the place to support local, you won’t find more local vendors together for another month when they host this all again!

PGA of Alberta Golf Show

Following this we have the PGA of Alberta Golf Show. Step into the ultimate golf experience at the PGA of Alberta Golf Show! This event is perfect for seasoned vets and rookie golfers alike. Junior golfers can enjoy the juniors area which includes a mini oputt course interactive activities, a photo booth, and a half hour juniors clinic run by PGA of Canada professionals! There’s even a chance to win a free golf club, perfect to help the hobby grow in your kids hands. There’s also a ladies lounge with drinks, apparel, a welcome gift for the first 100 visitors, and female PGA of Canada pros! On top of all this there will be a chipping challenge, several contest areas, and a lesson area. Heads up, the first 50 people through the doors on Saturday and Sunday will each receive a Canada Golf Card valued at $70!

Killswitch Engage

Now to take a hard turn from the zen-like focus of the golf course to the full-throttle chaos of a mosh pit , Killswitch Engage is in town! Known for their uncontainable energy and unpredictable performances, this legendary metalcore act will bring the noise, the riffs, and the headbanging vibes that’ll leave your ears ringing (in a good way) and your adrenaline spiked. Brace yourself it’s going to get loud.

Missing the Flames while they’re out of town? Don’t worry, hockey fans, the Wranglers are ready to bring the heat! Catch them this weekend at the Dome as they face off against their divisional rivals, the Coachella Valley Firebirds. With only 12 games left in the regular season, the Wranglers are chasing that crucial home-ice advantage for the playoffs. The Firebirds, currently holding a slim 2-point lead, won’t go down easy, expect a fiery showdown.
