“If even one person finds comfort in my music, if it lifts them up in any way, then I’ve done my job,” says the 24-year-old Calgary native. “That’s all I can ask for.”
Cole’s signature sound, described by CBC as “earworm pop with a feminist edge”, stems from her unique approach to songwriting. A psychology grad with an analytical mind, she poured weeks of research into her debut record, W.I.T.C.H.
