Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring – In Concert

This January 2–3, 2026, the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium transforms into Middle-earth for one of the most magical concert experiences imaginable: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring – In Concert.

Imagine watching Frodo and the Fellowship take their first steps out of the Shire while a live orchestra of over 250 musicians and singers fills the hall with Howard Shore’s goosebump-inducing score. Yeah — it’s that epic. The FILMharmonique Orchestra and Choir (along with the Chronos Vocal Ensemble, Vocal Alchemy, and Cantilon Children’s Choir) are bringing the Oscar-winning soundtrack to life, synced perfectly to the full HD film.

It’s the kind of night that makes you feel like you’re right there at the Council of Elrond or racing across the Mines of Moria. Whether you’re a lifelong Tolkien devotee, a film-score nerd, or just someone who loves a good reason to feel things, this event is basically a one-way ticket to musical and cinematic bliss.

Fair warning: there’s some escalator construction happening at the Jubilee (plan your journey wisely — like a true hobbit preparing for Mordor). But trust us — a few extra stairs are a small price to pay for witnessing one of cinema’s greatest scores performed live.

🎟️ Tickets are already in high demand. So grab your cloak, gather your fellowship, and prepare to be transported.

Because for two nights only, Middle-earth is real — and it sounds glorious.
